“Alfa Sustainable Projects”, one of the leaders in the field of Sustainable Construction and Building Science, requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.

 

The Role: Sustainability Consultant

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of green building projects. You’ll act as champion of sustainability for our projects. You will determine implementation of design and operation guidelines amongst project stakeholders to improve the built environment’s sustainability impact while increasing value.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop sustainability implementations tailor-made to client’s strategy based on climate conditions, cost, health & well-being, and environmental performance including energy, water, & waste.
  • Develop detailed project plans: schedules, milestones, deliverables for a variety of stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with green building standards via coordination, technical modelling, and calculations
  • Monitor progress and performance throughout building life-cycle
  • Facilitate communication among clients, design & construction teams, regulatory/certification entities
  • Collect documentation and develop submittals to certifying agencies such as LEED and SI 5281

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelors of Engineering, Architecture, or related field experience – must
  • Passion for sustainability and positive impact
  • Strong organizational ability, attention to detail, multi-tasking under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hebrew and English — you’ll be dealing with many stakeholders
  • Ability to anticipate issues and proactively find solutions
