Alfa is excited to share that the Mobileye building in Jerusalem has achieved LEED Platinum certification, the highest rating for sustainable building design and construction. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team involved in this project.
This amazing project started eight years ago with a lower sustainability goal, because apparently a higher goal at the time seemed impossible, but through the extensive efforts of all the design and construction team and thanks to Mobileye‘s vision and sustainability commitment, the campus achieved LEED BD+C PLATINUM certification. Nothing is impossible!
One of the key sustainable features is the building’s water reuse system, which recycles water used in the building for irrigation and toilet flushing. This helps to conserve water resources and reduce the building’s environmental impact. In addition, together with the north-south orientation of the building and the atrium skylight, the building’s high-performance facade with interior blinds and shading elements maximizes energy efficiency by reducing heat gain and glare while allowing natural light to enter the building. This results in a comfortable and healthy indoor environment while minimizing the building’s energy consumption.
It’s exciting to see such a commitment to sustainability and innovation, and we are proud to be part of a journey that prioritizes environmental responsibility. Congratulations to the entire team for achieving LEED Platinum certification for the Mobileye building.
