We are very proud to share that Campus Discount was awarded LEED v4 Gold BD+C!
This amazing project is located in Mitcham 1000, Rishon LeZion, Israel and is the headquarters of Discount Group.
The campus includes 3 office buildings raised above 2 common floors with over 86,000 m2 of office space, a variety of shared spaces, dining, auditorium and a visitor center.
The “spirit” of the building combines the use of indoor and outdoor spaces by connecting the 3 office buildings by external balconies in the first and second floors.
The outdoor spaces include many amenities providing opportunities for relaxation, sports and leisure activities, as well as outdoor formal gathering areas for its occupants
The building achieved LEED Gold in November 2023 and is aiming for Fitwel certification as well.
Alfa completed the LEED certification to a higher rating than was initially planned.
The building includes an advanced double skin façade with automatically controlled roller blinds to increase its energy efficiency which is more than 45% compared to the baseline. The double skin facade for Discount Campus is envisioned as a biophilic living facade where plants will line the space between the glass.
Other sustainable highlights include bicycle parking and showers, access to quality transit, electric vehicle charging, reused HVAC condensation water for irrigation, infiltration boreholes for rainwater management, advanced water leak detection system and many others!
The campus includes a full walking trail on the roof of its common floors to encourage healthy behaviors for their employees.
