On November 4th, we hosted a unique professional meetup at Alfa’s Campus on the topic of carbon emissions reductions in existing buildings. The event brought together leading experts, including Mahesh Ramanujam, CEO of the Global Network for Zero, alongside local consultants and professionals from the real-estate, ESG, and regulatory sectors.
The meetup took place against the backdrop of Israel’s upcoming carbon tax implementation and the growing awareness of the need to reduce carbon emissions in the industry.
We discussed topics such as new regulations, their market impact, the challenges and innovative solutions for emissions reductions, and introduced the case study of Alfa’s Zero Carbon efforts using GNFZ’s standard and measurement tool for existing buildings and organizations.
A key highlight of the event was the roundtable discussions, where participants shared their expertise, exchanged fascinating insights, and developed actionable conclusions that greatly contributed to shaping a guide that can benefit any organization type.
Following the event, we developed a comprehensive guide outlining actionable steps to reduce carbon emissions in existing buildings. Which you can download below in both English and Hebrew!
