Gav-Yam Park Haivrit Phase A1 has been awarded LEED® v4 BD+C: Core and Shell Gold certification, marking another milestone in sustainable real estate development in Israel.
This achievement recognizes the dedicated work of the entire planning, management, and construction teams and reflects international recognition of the building’s quality and environmental performance.
Key sustainability highlights include:
Energy & Carbon: The building slashes energy consumption by nearly a fifth compared to standard buildings. But here’s the really impressive part – through smart material choices and construction methods, they cut the building’s lifetime carbon footprint by 36% – confirmed by a comprehensive Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), demonstrating notable progress compared to standard local construction practices.
Water Conservation: In a country where every drop counts, this building uses 71% less water for landscaping and 36% less for daily operations.
Waste Reduction: During construction, 75% of waste materials were recycled or repurposed instead of heading to landfills, aligning with best practices in waste management and circular economy principles.
Innovations and Future Readiness. Electric vehicle charging stations in the parking garage recognize that clean transportation is coming fast. The extensive green spaces create microclimates that help cool the surrounding area and provide spaces where people can spend time in.
