The National Library of Israel is a unique building located in the center of Jerusalem. Alfa is overseeing the LEED® design and certification process, as well as energy and sustainability consulting. The project includes innovative aspects relating to energy saving technologies to provide lower maintenance costs as well as a healthier working environment. An efficient HVAC system includes rock-store, an innovative double skin façade on the west side of the building, solar photo-voltaic energy generation, sensors, andwater efficient fixtures.
